Located in the south-west, facing the sun, our vineyards are located in one of the warmest regions of South Tyrol.
In the south of South Tyrol, the H. Lentsch Winery in Bronzolo is situated at an altitude of 230 to 260 metres a.s.l., embedded between porous porphyry rock at the foot of a large alluvial cone. In this environment, where days are hot and nights are cool, our vines are perfectly aerated by winds such as the “Ora” from Lake Garda, but also by the mountain air cooled by ice holes.
The red quartz porphyry rock of Bronzolo ensures natural drainage and healthy vine growth – for unique wines.
A little bit of tradition: Our oldest vines date back to the 70s.
Vines have to be treated as gently as possible, starting with the choice of the ideal location for each grape variety. Lagrein, Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah are all at home in Bronzolo. Low-impact pruning and efficient handling in just a few steps and no artificial fertilisers or herbicides ensure that the vines stay robust and vital until old age.
